Dental Surgery

This section is included largely for completeness, as the curriculum mentions that one should be able to list "the problems associated with chair dental procedures including consent, the specific needs of patients with learning disabilities, child protection and the Mental Capacity Act".

Also listed in the 'skills' section is the ability to provide "safe anaesthesia/sedation for outpatient dental surgery", which will draw heavily on one's ability to provide procedural sedation.
