The all-too-common 'bed and breakfast'-ing of young adults on ICU following a drug overdose seems likely to only increase in frequency (an abhorrent end-product of a crumbling mental health infrastructure).
Exam-wise, there's yet to be a CRQ question from this sphere of ICM practice. In the absence of a recent BJA editorial on any particular poisoning, the candidate pressed for time may deem it relatively expendable.
