Ventricular Arrhythmias
Ventricular Arrhythmias
The curriculum asks for knowledge of 'the interpretation of arrhythmias seen in the peri-arrest period, including but not limited to...broad complex tachycardias'.
As one can tell from the blank page below, my own notes on ventricular arrhythmias were essentially non-existent.
There are a plethora of resources for the time-rich candidate to dig their teeth into, however:
Resources
- Anaesthesia for patients with hereditary arrhythmias part I: Brugada syndrome (BJA Education, 2018)
- Anaesthesia for patients with hereditary arrhythmias; part 2: congenital long QT syndrome and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (BJA Education, 2018)
- Ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death (BJA Education, 2016)
- Peri-Operative Cardiac Arrhythmias: Part Two Ventricular Dysrhythmias (WFSA, 2013)
