Breast surgery
Breast surgery
The core curriculum asks for knowledge on 'the anaesthetic management of straightforward common surgical procedures and their complications, including... breast procedures'.
A March 2018 CRQ on free flap breast reconstruction (64% pass rate) had the examiners conceding there were 'very comprehensive answers...almost too much information in some cases'.
Much of the information on free flap surgery is contained within the OMFS free flap page, so I've not replicated it here.
